This is my home away from home. Brenna, Kevin, Deb and Brooklyn are excellent hosts who make great coffee and great chit chat. The place can get crowded which is why I had to give it up as an alternative working space for when I need to get out of the house. But if you can find a seat, it’s truly amazing. It’s also the only dog friendly cafe I’ve ever lingered at that doesn’t smell like a kennel!

My favorite place to go for cappuccino — for the best taste in coffee, atmosphere (art/decor and music), and the baristas, who make it special every time.

Went here for the first time on a Saturday morning with a friend. The staff is high energy / positive and helpful. The place is well kept with some small tables and a counter area to hang out. The cold brew coffee I had was excellent and provided a needed bolt of caffeine. I highly recommend this local coffee place, and will definitely be going back

My wife and I have been coming here for years and we adore it. This place is the definition of community and connection. 10/10 always recommend. And their harvest latte is brilliant. Brenna is a genius barista and always invents the coolest drinks.

Great coffee and espresso drinks. I’m not too fond of the beans they use, but they still make a great drink. One thing they do well which a lot of coffee shops mess up on is layering the espresso drinks properly. They do it well here. When the milk is steamed and poured well, you get a great texture and even flavor throughout your drink...this is important, and their baristas know it.

Cozy coffee shop off Watchung in Montclair. I've been going here for years and am always treated with great service and great drinks. The owners are such nice folks, too.

Great place! Coffee is fantastic, any breakfast item I've tried had been delicious 😋. These donuts were so tasty and fresh. Owners and staff are wonderful. Even my dog George loves Local Coffee

We’ve been going to Local since it first opened. It was about the third coffee shop in Montclair at that time. Now, I can’t keep track of them all.

I would go back for the chocolate blackout donut alone, but the dirty chai latte and chocolate loaf are also worth a second visit. Perfect spot for a rainy Saturday morning to warm up from the inside out before venturing back out to take on the rest of your weekend. Looking forward to going back and trying out the rest of the drink menu and baked goods.

No food BUT pastries and coffees? ALWAYS immaculate. Super friendly staff, no matter the time of day.
